About .torrents and VuzeThis is a featured page

Hey! Do you hate having to go to the store just to buy a Wii game, think they're overpriced, or think you have more important things to spend your hard earned allowance on? Well, look no further! This sub-guide will teach you how to use the BitTorrent device Vuze and how to download torrents!

Foreword:

Make sure you have the Backup Launcher or the USB Launcher on your Wii (get them here.)

Step 1: Download Vuze

Simple step, click here to download Vuze.

Step 2: Set it up

Yet another simple step, install it on your computer

Step 3: Download a torrent file

Some good websites to download torrents are ILoveTorrents, Mininova and, of course, The Pirate Bay. Make sure the torrent file you have is in your region
(NTSC-U = USA, PAL = Europe, NTSC-J = Japan, AUST = Australia). Also, make sure that the seed to leecher ration is something like this:

More | Less
(Seeds) | (Leechers)

Step 4: Put the torrent into Vuze

When you download the torrent file, click it so it opens in Vuze. It may take a while to start going, but it will. If it doesn't, just rick click it and delete it.

Step 5: Get the ISO

Now that your download is complete, right click it in the "unwatched" section, and click "Show in Explorer". Then, if it's a folder, click on the .rar file at the bottom (second to last). Extract the ISO and place it on a DVD or use the WBFS Manager to put it on an external hard drive (guide on that coming soon)

Now put the DVD in the Wii and play it on the Backup Launcher or use the USB Loader and play it on an external hard drive.

How to make a .torrent file on Vuze

  1. Go to File > New Torrent
  2. Announce URL: http://tracker.bt-chat.com/announce (Copy and paste this into the Announce URL)
  3. Check single file or directory (I prefer single files)
  4. Click "Browse" and find your ISO (or whatever you want to put into your .torrent file)
  5. Click "next"
  6. Click "finish"
  7. Post the file on Mediafire and post the link here!
